The link drops and the signal carries on

Air cannot depend on the internet provider. If the link goes down, the station keeps broadcasting on its own for a grace period — and when it comes back, it catches up without anyone doing anything.

What happens when the link drops: the station stays on air for a grace period, and that period ends Link up the station syncs on its own Grace period stays on air, nothing to do it drops It has to be restored air stops limit
It is a grace period with an end, not an open-ended permission. We say it that way on purpose.

What it does

What matters is what you do NOT have to do when it happens.

  • The operator does nothing

No dialog asking for a key, nobody to call at three in the morning. The signal carries on.

  • It catches up on its own

When the link comes back, the station syncs with no intervention. Nobody has to remember.

  • It ends, and we say so

It is a grace period with a limit, not running forever without a licence. Promising otherwise would be a lie.

  • A drop is not a rejection

The station tells a dropped link apart from a cancelled account. An internet outage does not shut your channel down.
